Queerty typeface Queerty(pe) is the product of a typemaking workshop held on April 14, 2024. Members of the community were invited to carve a few letters out of linoleum and reflect on the importance of queer community and queer joy in their lives. In the face of oppressive forces against the LGBTQ community, the need for safe spaces for creativity, laughter, and connection remains. This typeface made in a loving and accepting space was used to create Queersources, a database for Boston-local queer resources. Click on your favorite character to download the typeface!
